andernach & fearolc ▪ While the Bonded pair are particularly busy - between their everyday work for the Coven and Parliament, and looking for answers to new arrivals' questions - they've placed a mailbox outside the Coven gates for anyone to leave a letter for them. These can be non-urgent queries, updates for Nessie or Mhairi, requests for in-person appointments, etc.
You can also reach them both by watch now! They've gotten their own, and will answer at their earliest availability. However, if your message or request for them is time sensitive, it's always recommended that you seek them out at the Coven itself, especially to reach Miss Nessie. Relaying messages through Parliament can be difficult, but this is also an option, if Mhairi is currently attending a session.
If you wish to interact with Nessie and Mhairi outside of the intro logs, please comment here. You have the option of handwaving the IC interaction to OOCly ask what questions your character might have for them, for us to summarize an answer for, or you can request an IC thread. Simply specify in your comment's subject IC or OOC, comment to the specific NPC you'd like to contact, and we'll respond accordingly. If you're looking to speak to both, please respond to the toplevel below.
Face-to-face IC interactions are granted in special OOC circumstances, such as follow-ups to quests, investigations, or a previous thread. OOC "handwaving" of a face-to-face interaction is still good to go!

He goes to Myr's place to grab him, reading him the response on their way over. He tries not to be intimidated by the escorts, though that becomes easier when he's led to the very strange room. He looks over the various plants and then turns to Nessie, as serious and as calm as he can manage to be.]

But as the matter of the SQUIP tops the list of his worries of late, it's really more of relief than a bother to be interrupted by Nessie's summons.
He draws in a deep breath as he follows Rich across the threshold (one hand outstretched to brush fingers against the doorframe to make certain of it), appreciative as his half-grown antlers might imply of the scent of green growing things. Instinct says this is a safe place and that puts him just slightly more at ease.]

I'm guessing you don't really have time to pay a lot of attention to what goes on with the watches, but I think it'd be easier to just... let you watch this, instead of having to go over it all over again.

If you don't want to watch it though, the important thing is... a Mirrorbound I've had contact with back, um, through my own mirror is here. It's called the SQUIP. It hurt a lot of people back home and I have reason to believe it's doing the same thing here. It killed one of my friends here. It bought me and a friend of mine out of the auctions in Dorchacht and it attempted to keep me, at least, fully in its control.
I spent two years of my life brainwashed by this thing. I don't want anyone else going through that... so I thought something should be done.

[ She counts them off on her fingers of her other hand, tapping them one by one on the wooden desk. Nessie's frown deepens for a moment, before she looks back up at them. ] Dearest, was this in the dream you all had?
[ Just clarifying - she's almost certain none of them have been to Dorchacht aside from that, but she wouldn't doubt there are people willing to take regular people out to the dangerous sea for a fair bit of coin. ("Regular people" being, well, people who aren't making orders and arrangements for an important dignitary trip.) ]

It's very like what we'd name a demon, back home on Thedas. They're known to ensnare folk with promises of their most desperate desires, then they'll possess the unfortunates and wreak misery on everything they touch. They've got neither pity nor remorse for what they do and won't be kept from what they want short of death.
[Breath in, breath out; he could easily get overwrought over this from sheer hatred of the things.]
Its Bonded and--friends, here, are deeply defensive of it and claim everything it's done is in line with the nature it was given by its creators. That, in fact, in Rich's case it could not have behaved differently; it hasn't a way to choose a more moral course.
They think they can repair this fault in it, given enough time. But it's already shown itself willing to use blood-- to use charm magic against them to get its own way.
