I appreciate you guys taking these wacky Android/Robot/Machine questions, because I have more. I'll try to rephrase them to make them more general so they can be of use to other players.
1) Characters who can physically change form without magic. Mettaton, as a robot, can change forms. This is a physical process that takes place with the flip of a switch; he goes from this form to this form, for example. Can he still switch between forms in Aefenglom?
1A) God. If he can keep both forms, how should I handle Monster transformations? Can I choose to have them manifest primarily on one form, or do I have to give a rectangle some cute bunny ears?
2) Robots, androids, machines, and other beings made of iron/steel/iron alloy becoming a Puca or Fae, and their weakness to iron. I saw there was an answer to robotic characters being Merrow (which also contained many helpful android questions, such as eating/sleeping/pain), but I'm curious to know how being made of iron could interact with the changes a character will undergo as they turn into a Puca/Fae. Will they hurt a lot, all the time (assuming the character can feel pain)? Will it disfigure them as they change? Will their body grow a resistance to this weakness over time due to their constant exposure to iron alloy?
3) Ghosts? Mettaton is actually a ghost fused with a (physical) robotic chassis. Though he's not forthright with this information, and chooses to ignore it. Ghosts are a type of monster from Undertale. All of my questions about magical entities are answered, so I have a question more related to ghosts.
Being that Mettaton is a ghost, are there Witches or Monsters who can detect his spectral nature, or is that going to remain his secret? In addition, what is the attitude toward phantasmal friends in Aefenglom? Do people fear ghosts, respect them, cherish them, or what?
4) Characters who require electric charge to function. Mettaton has a battery that can run out of power. He needs to recharge in order to continue functioning, unlike a lot of more technologically advanced robots out there. Can he find outlets to plug into in Aefenglom, or is there some magitech-oriented way he can replenish his battery? In addition, as he slowly becomes more "organic", as it were, will his need for recharging be reduced? He can sleep and recharge, like a weird hybrid... amazing...
5) Monster shoes. listen, this is absolutely important. if a character's monster traits end up altering the shape of their foot into something appropriate for their type (claws, paws, hooves, talons), are there shoes available for their perusal? can a monster obtain some sweet kicks that fit their new anatomy, is what i'm asking. (and can they get MONSTER HEELS)
