I know iron can damage/hurt Fae, but does it (as in other magical canons sometimes) interact poorly with magic in general?

I specifically ask because I'm considering Yako getting, say, something like a rune-etched cast iron pan to facilitate portable enchanted cooking -- the runes would be for self-heating, helping focus her magic more in the absence of a fire, etc. So just checking 1. this is a thing that's possible, 2. whether it would be very costly, or (if it was seen as an integral part of her training as a Witch) comped by the Coven.
