I realized that you have an answer about drugs here but I had a very specific question about drugs and I wanted clarification since drugs is a very loose term that has a few meanings between over the counter products, weed/tobacco or illegal substances.
Justine will be looking for anything that she can find or trade for that will help her mental state (which is unstable at best). In canon she mentions that she's taken medication for it and that it helped but the medication made her sick. I wasn't sure if there was something like that Justine could take to help, be it a potion or an opiate. I know that Victorian Era is where drugs really took off since the hypodermic needle was invented in 1840's. I believe that opium, alcohol and weed were the most common but they also had morphine and heroin. I don't know if there are potions that can be found that have these affects (for legitimate medical reasons even if Justine has issues with substance abuse) because Justine will flip out otherwise.
Which is also fine but I would like to explore her options since she can just drink a lot to help curb the maddening voices in her head. Variety is fun.
