Hello, thank you for the questions, and sorry for the delay in responding!

1. There is! Helping out, earning their trust, and generally being friendly are all good ways to get them to warm up. It isn't going to be easy with everyone though, particularly the older people. The youth is more receptive to it, and children in general tend to not care half as much as long as their elders aren't around to show them differently.

2. This is also a yes, depending on the above! Older people more leery of Monsters will be more faux-polite (think like, infamous Southern passive-aggressiveness), while the youth is more lenient.

For both of these, those in the Aristocratic District are distinctly more leaning towards faux-polite in general/not warming up too much due to differences in class and lifestyle.
