back at it again at the krispy kreme — but i think these should be my last two questions, i can't believe i have devoted this much thought to all of this jesus CHRIST

1. for someone with chronic illness or disability (ie, steve has scoliosis and asthma, is colorblind and deaf in one ear, the list goes on) who turns into a vampire, would the vampirism cure these illnesses/disabilities? would it be a matter of player choice, ie if i wanted steve to remain partially deaf but be cured of his colorblindness, could i pick and choose ailments to keep and discard? or would vampires just be perfectly preserved as they died, ailments and disabilities and all?

2. would a witch (or group of witches if it's a very advanced spell, i guess) be able to imbue a piece of jewelry or other item with the power to allow vampires to walk in the sun? in the vampire diaries witches were able to enchant pieces of lapis lazuli jewelry to allow their vampire wearers to walk in the sun — the enchantments were specific to each vampire, so a ring/necklace/etc enchanted for ellen would not work for bob and vice versa. would this be a thing a vampire/witch pair could work toward together, or are vampires just nocturnal forever get used to it?

ETA: i lied, but only because i hadn't read the question about how bonded experience death yet — when vampires die to complete their monster transformations, would that have a similar effect on the bond as described in response to this question? or since they're coming back, would the bond remain intact and no one would feel a thing? if the bond is affected, might a bond with a vampire, who is dead but not, always feel a little more painful/hollow/unpleasant than another bond, as the magic tries to reconcile the two sort of antithetical states of being?
