Hi there, and thanks for the questions!

Food, drink, and medications are about the same as Earth; food and drink are a little less restricted (beer is either moonshine-esque and hit or miss, or REALLY EXPENSIVE, in example), but medications date to about our Victorian era! That means there's a lot of "patent medicine" type things - snake oil, bottles of piss being sold as a hair growth elixir, etc. from people looking to make easy money off of gullibles. There are legitimate medicines that work as intended too, but the distinction isn't always easy to make, unless you're getting it from a certified source, such as the Heofonlic Hospital or a Witch that's certified by the Coven to make potions and elixirs. This is something characters can learn to do too if they should wish to invest their time in potionbrewing/ye olde alchemy, even if ingredients can be a little difficult to get.

As for drugs, they're similar enough that a character could use them in the same way; they don't go by the same names, but describing their effects would work out in finding them. That being said, the legality is a little muddy - sort of like turning a blind eye, as there's a lot of people in powerful positions (either in influence or in wealth) that deal in drug use. Those people are generally the only ones who can get it - it's pretty pricey, a real luxury item! Most of them are synthesized or made from plants that either live outside of the city, or are imported from another area entirely. It's possible to grow it in the city if your character should use a garden space for that, but most gardening spaces are used for sustainability in some way rather than for pleasure; even flower gardens and the like are for businesses.

So, the tl;dr: More or less everything is standard fare, just thrown back to like the late 1800s or so due to the Victorian era aesthetic the city has, and drugs aren't illegal but they're difficult and expensive to get, but not impossible. In fact, as characters are allowed to travel into the Wilde on Coven business (or just on their own investigative business) as long as they have a partner or someone to watch over them, it's perfectly legitimate to have them search for the plants that give the same hallucinogenic effects as their drug of choice!

It's just good to be careful, because plants that are corrupted by the Cwyld have an opium-like narcotic effect instead of their usual one.
