Okay, we're back. Hi!

Turning and siring is a very important part of Vampire lore, and evidence of such can be found across Geargadas history the same as it can be seen in our own lore. Regardless, no one knows the origin of the first Vampire, or the means that they used to create more Vampires until turning started to be recorded.

Vampires have greater ease of turning non-practicing humans, as there's less magic to drain, but it's not impossible to turn a Witch. But regardless, the ability to sire is restricted to Vampires that have gone through their full, mandatory changes - this means the earliest they would be able to do this is after 3 months of being in Geargadas.

To turn a Witch, the Vampire must find a way to drain all of their magic and most of their blood to allow for the change to take. Once they accomplish this, the Vampire must feed the Witch some of their blood. This is an incredibly dangerous process for both the Witch and the Vampire due to magical backlash that could occur, and runs the risk of death by the Witch's body rejecting their newfound sire's blood. But if it does take, they are no longer in possession of magic, and are now a Monster with all of the Vampire's weaknesses.

This, of course, can't be done without player permission and alerting the mods.
