question for possible future app shenanigans--if we want to play a harpy do we need to pick a specific type of bird they're modeled after? and can it be a bird that doesn't technically exist? (like a phoenix or stymphalian bird, or even like an extinct bird which i'm discovering there are quite a lot of) with the idea that a mythological bird wouldn't give them extra special powers

mostly asking because the character who would do so good as a harpy also has a close connected to a phoenix-like entity in canon and being able to have feathers that look like (or maybe can actually be?) part fire would just be totally understand if this is not kosher tho!
