The "magi" part of magitech would be the hardest factor of it, certainly, but the technology itself may not be something she's familiar with as well, as conducts and the like differ from the modern equivalents somewhat. She would be able to break into them in time, but it would be an estimated two to three months minimum before she could do it with steady success, especially depending on the "difficulty" of the magitech she's hacking.
3. Your proposed nerf is perfectly acceptable! It would all have to be at least converted somewhat into magitech, be it complete replacement or rewired/have added assessments in order for it to work in Aefenglom's world, but it is possible.
