1. There are, dubbed "by those with weakness, for those with weakness" for the more alchemical and less magic-based of the solutions, of which last a while but it's something he'll eventually get used to and therefore need a stronger solution.
2. Which brings us here. Witches have developed solutions for their partners, but they aren't as effective as they could be given be... They're enough, but their partners will admit that they wish it were better. These'll last longer, and as they are wards they won't be something his body can become "used to", but they aren't as effective as the alchemy-based solutions. If Mettaton was eager and able, they'd certainly be into developing something with him -- if he'd like to have other Mirrorbound to help as well, they'd be more than happy to give a list of various herbs, ores, and creature parts to use as components in enchantments that're found more in the Wilde than they are by home.
They are difficult to obtain, not to mention dangerous in some cases, and while it won't ever be a permanent solution to an age-old problem the Monsters of Aefenglom would be happy to have the help.
