1. Petalwolves seem to love thick, low ground coverage, especially anything resembling piles of fallen leaves - to burrow in and camouflage themselves against bigger predators. Fungi of all types (even poisonous types) seems to be their main food of choice, and Granny, unfortunately, has been having issues with all the damp conditions breeding toadstools on her land! They are quite wary of human-shaped figures, but strangely, they seem to love rolling in pepper. Keeps the bugs away.

As far as why the garden is so attractive to them: the aforementioned fungi as a food source, and they don't have a lot of other options, as Cwyld infection has driven them out of their usual territories.

2. Unfortunately, the refugees have not gained back any memories. When told about the full moons, many of them will be confused and ask for more information - due to the fog over Dorchacht blocking the moons' influence, they've never experienced such a phenomenon before. As far as Bonds go, they're tentatively hopeful about the idea of equality, but that's such a big commitment to think about when they're still settling in!
